Mark graduated as a University Scholar from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1996. He continued his education at the University of Tennessee College of Law. In 1999, Mark graduated with high honors in the top ten of his class and was selected Order of the Coif. Mark won awards for academic excellence in Torts, Contracts I & II, Real Property, Business Torts, Constitutional Law, Trial Practice and Federal Income Taxation. In addition to these academic achievements, Mark took Third Place in the Advocates Prize moot court competition and was a member of the Moot Court Board and Tennessee Law Review. He also served as president of the law school’s Student Chapter of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Since becoming a lawyer more than fifteen years ago, Mark has gained extensive experience in State and Federal courts throughout Tennessee, with most of his practice concentrated in and around Nashville, Murfreesboro and Franklin. Mark has run his own law firm since 2006 and has litigated, tried and appealed hundreds of civil rights, employment, juvenile, domestic, personal injury and business dispute cases throughout Middle Tennessee. Mark has handled cases in trial courts and administrative tribunals throughout Tennessee, and has handled appeals in the state and federal system all the way to both the Tennessee and United States Supreme Courts. Mark has successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients.
